Life Science Park

The Life Science Park is a grand complex of three buildings with a total area of 20,000 square metres. It offers services for entrepreneurs and scientists who work on the development of life sciences.

The Park offers, for example, the rental of specialised laboratories, financial support for innovative companies, contractual research and clinical trials, and numerous educational initiatives. The Life Science Park is owned and administered by the Jagiellonian Center of Innovation, a company established in 2004 by the Jagiellonian University in Kraków.

The Life Science Park can be used with any infrastructure allowing for research and development in the scope of biotechnology, biomedicine, biology, chemistry, pharmacology, physics, nanotechnology and environmental protection.

Besides flexible space, the Park’s structure offers several technological solutions to benefit life science operations, such as modularity, reinforced floor carrying capacity, a vapour-based fire protection system, an air exchange system reaching 22 cycles per hour and additional process lines enabling the expansion of electrical and sanitary installations.

The lab space is integrated with joint areas, which are used as organisational facilities for operations of the Park’s clients: meeting rooms, state-of-the-art conference halls, technical and social facilities. The Park also offers an electronic library and recreation space for its staff.
