On 29 November 2018 in the Life Science Park, the Jagiellonian Center of Innovation, jointly with the Biotechnologia.pl website and the Polish Cosmetics Industry Association, hosted a cosmetics business conference.
The conference, entitled “Cosmetics Research and Production – Innovative Research Methods, Natural Formulations and Sales Effectiveness” was intended to expose attendees to the latest research trends in cosmetics production, formulation trends as well as various aspects of new cosmetic product launches and evolving legal regulations.
Speaking at the conference, representatives of the Jagiellonian Center of Innovation presented elements of JCI’s service offering intended for the cosmetics sector, including, for example, innovative research methods used in microbiological diagnostics and Raman spectroscopy as well as a contract cosmetics manufacturing line. Conference attendees had the opportunity to take part in a workshop discussing the use of Raman spectroscopy for determining the depth of substance penetration through skin layers.
“It’s double satisfaction. After the conference we received very positive feedback. Above all, the attendees praised the conference program and the workshops which, according to evaluation questionnaires, were simply top notch! In addition, we received a number of requests for quote, and we have already completed some contracts,” says Aleksandra Piotrowska, JCI’s Promotion and Marketing Manager.
