As always on the last Friday of September, please join us for the Scientists’ Night at the Life Science Park, organized by the Jagiellonian Center of Innovation jointly with Klaster LifeScience Kraków.
On 28 September the mysterious laboratories will lay bare their secrets and non-trivial questions will be answered.
The main idea behind the event is to popularize science among Małopolska residents, offer children and youth an insight into the profession of scientist as well as encourage them to pursue careers in science. Interesting lectures, presentations, experiments, workshops, games as well as the opportunity to explore otherwise inaccessible laboratories will certainly prove that science is an interesting and inseparable part of our lives.
This year’s Scientists’ Night is a real treat. Its program has been developed over the past few months, and more than 1,300 scientists, approx. 2,000 university students and 150 plus research circles from 55 organizations have worked to prepare and deliver the event. Attendees are invited to take part in seven workshops to be held in the Life Science Park:
- Soap smelling like a meadow full of flowers – a soap workshop
- Feel the power of needles – close encounters with acupuncture
- (Un)safe food
- Explore the world of cosmetics
- Green cocktails
- Soft and clean water
- Make something out of nothing – an upcycling workshop
Admission to all the events is free, but some of them require pre-registration – for details please visit our website at www.nocnaukowcow.malopolska.pl.
We look forward to seeing you!
