Services of raw material analysis supplement the offering of the Jagiellonian Center of Innovation.
Analysis of Pharmaceutical Raw Materials
Raw material analysis allows:
- Control of suppliers
- Detection of falsifications
- Detection of contamination that can appear at the stage of production, transport or storage of raw materials
- Assessment of material suitability
Raw material tests are performed based on methods developed by JCI or client’s methods. At the client’s request, we may develop and validate a given method with an option of transfer to the client.
We offer:
- Assessment of product identity and detection of raw material falsification with the use of:
- Analytical chromatography
- Mass spectrometry (MS)
- NMR spectroscopy
- Infrared (IR) spectroscopy
- Raman spectroscopy
- Protein electrophoresis
MS, NMR and IR techniques are complementary and allow for complex structural analysis of organic compounds.
- Molecule size analysis using:
- Raman spectroscopy
- Laser diffraction (Mastersizer)
- Chemical analysis of impurities using:
- Analytical chromatography
- Mass spectrometry (MS)
- NMR spectroscopy
- Infrared (IR) spectroscopy
- Raman spectroscopy
- UV-VIS spectroscopy
- Analysis of microbiological contamination:
- Diagnostics using the classical methods
- Diagnostics using MALDI TOF mass spectrometer
- Analysis of crystallographic structures (polymorphism) with the use of:
- Infrared (IR) spectroscopy
- Raman spectroscopy
- Powder diffractometry (XRPD / XRD)
